What is the MS Medicaid Brief, Underpad, and Pull-ups Program+
MS Medicaid will cover briefs, underpads, or pull-ups up to 6 per day (186 per month) for those who qualify – age three and above when ordered by a physician.
What does Medicaid cover+
MS Medicaid will cover either brief, underpad, or pull-ups for the period authorized by your physician. Also, Medicaid will reimburse as either the primary or secondary insurer.
WILL MS MEDICAID PAY FOR MY ACCESSORIES, SUCH AS WIPES, GLOVES, AND BARRIER CREAM(S)+
As of 10/11/2019, MS Medicaid no longer considers wipes and gloves as medically necessary. However, PRN will provide a small number of wipes and gloves to you at no cost.
DO I QUALIFY+
To meet the base requirements for qualification, an applicant must have been diagnosed by their treating physician as incontinent and have an applicable diagnosis code(s) selected within their medical record. The following list is a list of possible diagnoses, but if there are others, please check with us.
- R32 - Urinary Incontinence
- N39.41 - Urge Incontinence
- N39.43 - Post Void Dribbling
- N39.45 - Continuous Leakage
- N39.3 - Stress Incontinence (M/F)
- N39.42 - Incontinence w/ sense awareness
- N39.44 - Nocturnal Enuresis
- N39.46 - Mixed Incontinence
IS THIS PROGRAM AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS IN STATES OUTSIDE OF MISSISSIPPI+
PRN currently only services residents of Mississippi, insured with MS Medicaid. We are always evaluating opportunities to expand our services to those outside of the greater Mississippi region.
HOW DO I GET MY SUPPLIES+
Your physician will write a prescription. We will contact them for your medical records. Upon verifying your coverage criteria and your insurance benefits, we can ship your supplies directly to you. Every month one of our customer service representatives will contact you to check your usage and stock of supplies. We can reship your supplies ten days before your order is due to ensure you never run low. Shipment is always free of charge.
